Is the Library Building opened?

The Library is opened all services are available.  Social distancing and face masks are encouraged.  Please call the library at (609) 487-7403 for more information.

 

What is the schedule for curbside pickup?

How does it work?

You call the library at (609) 487-7403 or use the library catalog an put your items on hold.  Library staff will call you when the items are ready for pickup.  You drive up to the curbside pickup area (by bookdrop on Atlantic Avenue) and call the library.  Please have an ID or your library card with you.  If you need to get out of the car, please have a mask.

What if I need to return materials?

Returns can be put in the outdoor bookdrop on Atlantic Avenue or the inside bookdrop.  Items will be cleaned after they are returned.

Can I pickup up mobile prints through curbside?

No, but mobile printing is available in the library.  We recommend calling the library at (609) 487-7403 before you come over.

What is happening with library programs?

The majority of our programs are being held outside, but some programs are being held inside at limited capacity, please click on the following link for programming information: programs

 

Are computers available?

The library has three computer available for forty-five minutes only (with a fifteen minute extension if no one is waiting).

What is different?

We are constantly cleaning the library as well as high touch areas throughout the day.

We also strongly encourage patrons to get their material and head out to make room for the next patron.

What items can I borrow?

You can borrow DVDs, books, museum passes (please check to make sure museums are open) and hotspots (Longport Residents only).  

Is the library taking book donations?

The library is not taking book donations at this time.  Please do not put book donations in the bookdrop.  We appreciate your understanding.
